If you feel pain in your joints when driving through tunnels during your daily carpool,
is that carpool tunnel syndrome?

......

I hate being sick. But I love the rain. So currently I'm both miserable and happy. Life is weird.

And my apologies to regular readers who received a 403 error or, later in the day, a file not found error. One of the servers for my web space provider went critically offline. It seems nobody lost any data, though.

If it’s yellow, let it mellow. If it’s brown, flush it down.

Well, here we are. Tomorrow is Turkey day. I'm all for any celebration which involves eating (a fact easily betrayed by my not overly wide but decidedly soft midsection.)

I may be blind, but I have a cute ear ring...

So here we are, nearing the eve of the eve of the eve of the busiest shopping day of the year. Did I mention to anyone that Kyoko does not get Friday off? What exactly is with that!? She's Japanese, she will have an allergic reaction to being denied access to all those keen sales.

And so it goes...

ざんねんです!

Hm......As some of you know Kyoko and I are planning another trip to Japan come April. I would have preferred to see Japan in the Winterime...but I've mentioned that once or twice already.

So anyway, not that I think Kyoko would have cared much, but we'll be missing Mari Iijima by only about two weeks. Anyway, I've got to try to get to one of her next gigs at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood. Maybe I can lug a Dave along or something.

雨がふっています。。。

You know...this is what I get for not watching much TV. I didn't even know there was a chance of rain today (well, tonight anyway...)

In Takeshi Kitano's Zatoichi there are several times when the sounds of nature and human toil combine to make music. My apartment complex is essentially a fabricated forest of sorts. Most of the trees are enthusiastically deciduous, constantly shedding their brittle leaves after which fall decorative themes are patterned. Right now the rain is falling gently on those discarded leaves in a rhythmic pit-a-pat, pat, pit-pit-pat.

始まりました!。。。Again!

It begins again. I've left Nucleus behind (maybe forever?) to give Movable Type a try. I've been playing with the settings and done various amaturish things with my meager .css skills. This place looks similar but different that its predecessor.
