Wow. It seems May is a bad month for unfortunate automotive related events.
Two of my friends have been in car accidents. I was nailed by one of those photo-ticket thingies for…Running a red light?
Very few people drive with me on a regular basis, so most wouldn’t know how adamant I am regarding traffic laws, particularly on surface streets. I drive in a fashion not typical of California drivers. For instance, I stop for stop signs. I adhere to speed limits. I turn into traffic from a parking lot when it is safe to do so. And, under most circumstances, I do not run red lights.
Why is it guys like me get popped and not the scum who drive 50 in a 25 zone, or swerve back and forth around cars, or plunge into traffic form a parking lot with no regard for other cars…Well, at least it wasn’t a traffic accident. My condolences to Jenny and Pat.
